Make Your Money Real

Make Your Money Real

To some people money is a tough thing. It is easy to spend and hard to save. It is something that you use when it is there and wish is was around when it is not. Why do people have such a tough time with money? Well, maybe it is because they are really not making money real to them. Maybe to some people it is just pieces of paper that are readily accessible. In order to help yourself get out of debt and create more wealth you are going to have to find ways to make your money something that is more real. The following are some ways that we think might be able to help you out in this situation. Read through them whenever you want.

Daily Envelopes

Some times people get caught up in debt when using a credit card. This is because a card is plastic and doesn’t appear to even be money. If you want to save money and get out of debt then using envelopes of cash might be a great way to do it. If you have a monthly budget, then you can divide that money into cash for each day of the month. Each day will have its own envelope. One envelope per day and when the money is done for the day so are you. This is helpful because you are actually giving the money away yourself. If you ever take money from other days then you will have to replace it, or just have less money that day.

Exchanging System

A lot of people like to eat out at work. This can cost a lot of money. A lot of people like to go out on the weekend and have fun. This can also cost a lot of money. If you want to save money then you might want to limit yourself to a certain amount that you can spend on lunch at work and going out on the weekends. It will set up like this. Say you have $100 in the budget for the lunch and weekend. If you want to spend more on the weekend then you will have to bring your lunch more days. If you want to go out with your workmates, then you will have to sacrifice some on the weekends. Limiting yourself, and setting up an exchange type system can be very effective.

Association

When it comes to expenses everything seems to stand on its own. If you have a goal in mind then this is a lot easier. After a hard day of work some people like to go get a drink. Let’s say that you like to get a smoothie after work just to calm down. This smoothie is about $6. What if you want to save $60 a month? Well, then you can associate this $60 with 10 smoothies. Go home and put your smoothie money away in a jar or some place like that. Most people look for addition money when all they really need to do is use the money right in front of them. You still will be able to enjoy your drink, but now you are also helping yourself save money in the process. Money might be tight. This a way you can have the best of both worlds.
